How plausible would it have been for you to be looking at my Second Life Avatar blog 15 years ago? Not very. In 15 years the net has grown to an estimated 30 billion active pages (with more than 85 billion archived) and has more than 1.4 billion users.
We communicate, collaborate, learn, love, work and play on the net. With every hyperlink we forge, with every connection, we make our collective consciousness stronger. We did all this. We make implausible possibilities real. We are the machine.
